Cardiff Facts

The Romans founded Cardiff in 55AD, building a fort on the site of Cardiff Castle. Cardiff was granted its Charter of Incorporation by James 1st in 1616 and became a city in 1905. Cardiff was crowned the capital of Wales in 1955.

Directions:

Exit 29 from M4follow signs for city centre. Turn left opposite Cardiff Castle into High Street which then leads onto St.Mary Street. The Sandringham is located on the left hand side two doors down from Howells department store.There are numerous nearby pay to park car parks.Please ask at reception on arrival for details. If arriving by bus or train then exit the stations onto Wood Street and turn right onto St.Mary Street. At the junction turn left and the Sandringham is located on the right hand side.Please note that we have four floors but unfortunately no lift.
